What You’ll Be Doing

📍Own and optimise core accounting processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, management reporting, and compliance. 📍Develop accounting policies, processes, and controls to support global audit and licensing requirements. 📍Review and enhance internal financial controls and processes to improve efficiency, strengthen compliance, and mitigate risk. 📍Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant regulatory requirements. 📍Support and assess new business initiatives to ensure they meet all finance requirements. 📍Lead systems projects, including accounts payable automation and accounting system upgrades. 📍Oversee monthly payroll processing and the company expense claim platform (Expensify). 📍Contribute to budgeting and forecasting as we continue to grow and mature our finance function.

What You'll Bring

📍We’re looking for someone with a blend of technical expertise, commercial insight, and start-up grit - someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys solving complex problems.

You’ll have:

📍A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and CA or CPA qualification. 📍Experience in Big 4 audit, ideally combined with commercial accounting experience. 📍Exposure to, or a keen interest in, fintech, digital assets, or emerging financial technologies. 📍Strong technical financial and management accounting skills. 📍A solid understanding of business processes and internal controls across finance and operations. 📍Experience with automation tools, process transformation, or accounting system implementations. 📍Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
