Job Summary

Your responsibilities

šŸ“Serve as an embedded data analyst within the Risk operations team, maintaining close contact with the daily operational needs of Risk šŸ“Collaborate with Risk operations on metrics, KPIs to ensure fraud & loss rates are accurately measured, working with product as needed to address gaps in data šŸ“Collaborate with Product Security engineering team on code updates to ensure event and property consistency šŸ“Configure analytics tools (QuickSight, other tools as needed) in order to visualize data in partnership with Risk operations šŸ“Create and manage monitors and alerts (DataDog) to proactively identify and address data issues šŸ“Identify and troubleshoot data quality and integration issues šŸ“Understand the data being used by Swanā€™s internal fraud tools and work to optimize and solve issues across these tools šŸ“Proactively work with both internal Risk team and external custodial compliance and fraud counterparts to ensure Risk is receiving the data it needs from partners šŸ“Contribute to data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality and integrity, working closely with Security team to ensure data transmission is compliant with data privacy policies

Skills and experience that will help you succeed

šŸ“Experience in fast growth high tech environments in a data analytics or engineering role šŸ“Previous experience in monitoring fraud or compliance risk data design šŸ“Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Javascript, TypeScript, or similar) including unit testing šŸ“Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail šŸ“Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment šŸ“Excellent communication and collaboration skills šŸ“Familiarity with modern data analytics and visualization tools šŸ“Broad experience with data warehousing and customer data pipelines šŸ“A good understanding of AWS core services, concepts, and tooling for data pipelines a plus šŸ“Required to work US timezones
