Job Summary
Responsibilities:
đź“ŤPerform data analysis, identify outliers, spot trends, and build analytics models using various types of financial data đź“ŤApply both traditional econometrics tools and machine learning techniques to solve real world problems in trading đź“ŤGet familiar with and assist in market microstructure and execution research đź“ŤConduct pre- and post-trade analysis in collaboration with other trading researchers globally đź“ŤRecalibrate, maintain and improve the current suite of models and automated trading processes đź“ŤStay informed of market developments to adapt our analytics framework and trading models đź“ŤBuild close ties with the trading data, analytics and research teams in India and globally
Qualifications:
📍Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a subject with quantitative content (Masters preferable) 📍Related experience in data science for financial service firms (4-7 years) and excellent data analysis skills. Exposure to AI/ML is a plus 📍Keen interest in the field of investments or trading. Prior knowledge in economics, financial markets and/or market microstructure is a plus 📍High motivation and willingness to acquire new skills on the job 📍Excellent communicator with ability to explain research in simple terms 📍Effective team player who works independently and confidently engages with trading and investment teams
