Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
đź“ŤOwn end-to-end delivery of regulatory change programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory timelines, and risk appetite. đź“ŤEngage and influence senior stakeholders and C-Suite across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology to ensure programme success. đź“ŤCollaborate with SMEs to interpret new and existing regulations (e.g. FINRA, SEC, MiCA) and translate them into actionable change initiatives. đź“ŤAnalyse and define business processes to identify gaps and operational improvements. đź“ŤEstablish and maintain robust governance frameworks, steering committees, and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability. đź“ŤProactively identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. đź“ŤManage third-party vendors to deliver within scope, time, and cost constraints where required. đź“ŤDrive business readiness, training, and communication plans to embed regulatory changes effectively across impacted teams. đź“ŤSupport internal and external audits and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory standards
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential đź“ŤProven track record in programme management, with a strong focus on regulatory or compliance-driven change. đź“ŤBackground in financial services, fintech, or a similarly regulated industry. đź“ŤExperience with US regulatory bodies (e.g. SEC, CFTC, FINRA, FinCEN) and audit readiness. đź“ŤStrong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills at C-suite level. đź“ŤExperience working cross functional teams within global organisations with complex governance structures. đź“ŤExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present to a range of audiences, motivate others and lead change. đź“ŤAbility to work under pressure to meet project timeframes đź“ŤProfessional certifications (e.g., MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are desirable.
