About the company
The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. The EF is not a company, or even a traditional non-profit. We do not control Ethereum, nor are we the only organization that funds critical development of Ethereum-related technologies. We are part of a large ecosystem of organizations, individuals, and companies that support Ethereum. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success. Our role is to allocate resources to critical projects, to be a valued voice within the Ethereum ecosystem, and to advocate for Ethereum to the outside world. Since 2014, EF has hosted Devcon, an annual 4-day conference which has become the oldest and most prominent event in the Ethereum community (and arguably the entire blockchain space). The event attracts developers, designers, researchers, creators, and others — many of whom are intrigued by cutting-edge technology, decentralization, privacy/security, free and open-source software, and the potential for Ethereum to change the world for the better. Qualified
đź“Ť5+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, and visual design, for web and mobile applications, crypto-native applications, etc đź“ŤStrong knowledge of design principles, typography, layout, and scalability. đź“ŤExperience owning and refining adaptive design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency. đź“ŤProficiency in wire framing to high-fidelity designs across web and mobile platforms. đź“ŤDemonstrable familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end collaboration. đź“ŤStrong sense of motion, interaction, and micro-animation design guidance. đź“ŤExpert in Figma and keeping update on emerging design tools and trends. đź“ŤExperience directing the vision of a product and managing a team (developers, communications person, graphics designer). đź“ŤA high-level understanding of Ethereum and blockchain tech (and the values ethereum applications should inherit).
