Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist will be part of the Finance team at Chainalysis. The Finance Team splits their time between fine-tuning the details and evaluating the 30,000 foot view of our business. Our job is to help the company plan for growth by investing in the right resources and audit our expenditures and revenues to ensure we’re being fiscally responsible.

We are looking for a detailed-oriented Procurement Specialist that will be responsible for day-to-day operations of Coupa and will help our P2P operations. Coupa Buyer experience is required.

In one year you’ll know you were successful if…

You have acted as the Buyer in the day-to-day operations of Coupa. Ensured hundreds of requisitions and orders were processed per month. Worked closely with Requesters, Approvers, Legal and Security to ensure orders followed internal requirements and were processed as quickly as possible. You helped employees learn and use Coupa, by providing group and 1:1 training. You’ve onboarded new suppliers. You added contracts to Coupa’s contract module. You worked with Accounting on monthly close tasks, which included reviewing open POs and invoices pending approval. You helped review spend analysis reports and assisted in finding cost savings opportunities. You sent out RFIs or RFPs that lead to cost savings. You’ve identified opportunities for automation and improvement, including the stop of maverick spend. A background like this helps:

A can-do attitude and an approachable demeanor. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A background as a Buyer or running RFxs. Excellent reporting and Excel skills.
