Job Summary
What You’ll Do
📍Lead product design across multiple high-impact initiatives, from zero-to-one concepts through polished, production-ready experiences. 📍Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, user flows, service architecture, data requirements, and technical constraints early in the process. 📍Think deeply about edge cases, states, error flows, and data integrity, producing designs that anticipate real-world usage and give developers exactly what they need. 📍Translate complex business and user needs into simple, cohesive experiences that drive measurable outcomes. 📍Evolve and scale Figure’s design system, ensuring consistency and innovation across products. 📍Raise the quality bar for visual craft, interaction patterns, systems thinking, and UX rigor. 📍Mentor and provide design critique to senior and mid-level designers, fostering a culture of craft, collaboration, and continuous learning. 📍Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product decisions and align teams around a shared vision. 📍Represent design at the executive level, communicating design rationale and customer insights clearly to stakeholders.
What We Look For
📍8+ years of experience in product design (UI/UX or product/interaction design), with a strong track record leading complex, multi-disciplinary work. 📍Proven experience driving complex design projects from strategy through execution, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. 📍Evidence of designing products that shipped, scaled, and impacted the business. 📍Strong systems thinking around design components, technical constraints, and how to structure flows for engineering efficiency.
