Job Summary
What you will be working on
šOutsourcing Governance šDevelop, implement, and maintain the outsourcing governance framework in line with Irish and EU regulations, including Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) expectations. šLead the establishment and continuous enhancement of policies and procedures to ensure effective management and oversight of all outsourced activities. šSupport the execution of outsourcing risk assessments, ensuring risks are identified, measured, and mitigated. šVendor and Performance Management šMonitor the performance of outsourced service providers against contractual agreements and service level expectations. šAct as the primary point of contact for all outsourcing relationships, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution. šLead periodic reviews and audits of outsourcing arrangements to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. šRegulatory Compliance šEnsure compliance with EBA guidelines, CBI industry guidance and other applicable regulatory requirements regarding outsourcing, including reporting obligations. šMaintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on the impact of changes. šSupport regulatory audits and inspections related to outsourcing activities. šStakeholder Collaboration šWork closely with Legal and Procurement teams to negotiate outsourcing contracts, ensuring inclusion of appropriate risk mitigation clauses. šPartner with Compliance, Risk, and IT teams to ensure that third-party providers align with internal policies and regulatory expectations. šCollaborate with business units to assess outsourcing needs and manage transitions, ensuring minimal disruption. šMonitoring and Reporting šDevelop and deliver regular management information (MI) reports on outsourcing risks and performance for senior leadership and the Board. šMaintain a comprehensive register of all outsourcing arrangements, including critical or important functions.
What you will bring
šThe ideal candidate will be a seasoned outsourcing professional with a strong understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks. š5+ yearsā experience in outsourcing, vendor management, or a related governance role, ideally within financial services or fintech. šProven track record of managing third-party service providers and regulatory compliance. šBachelorās degree in Business, Law, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous. šRelevant certifications (e.g., Certified Outsourcing Professional, Procurement certifications) are a plus. šStrong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory requirements for outsourcing, including EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing and CBI expectations. šFamiliarity with risk management frameworks and contract negotiation best practices. šExcellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. šStrong analytical abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills. šExceptional communication skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and regulators. šHigh levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information. šA proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
