Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. We’re growing – quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
📍Data Analysis and Visualization: 📍Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive efficiency and revenue optimization. 📍Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. 📍Translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights for business stakeholders. 📍Optimization Planning: 📍Analyze data on energy pricing, asset type, asset age, and other operational metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. 📍Develop and implement optimization models and strategies to maximize operational efficiency and revenue. 📍Continuously refine and enhance optimization models based on feedback and new data. 📍Report Generation and Automation: 📍Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders to track KPIs, performance metrics, and business trends related to optimization efforts. 📍Automate report generation processes to increase efficiency and scalability. 📍Collaboration and Communication: 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven optimization solutions. 📍Communicate findings and insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, reports, and visualizations.

📍Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 📍Proven experience in creating and implementing optimization models. 📍Proven experience as a data analyst or similar role, with a focus on optimization modeling, data visualization, and reporting. 📍Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). 📍Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. 📍Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 📍Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
