Job Summary
The opportunity
šDevelop systems for automatic backup, monitoring and remediation of blockchain nodes; šCode Kubernetes Operators and leverage Helm charts to deploy blockchain nodes in the K8S platform developed by the Crypto SRE team; šImplement and roll out SLO-based monitoring and alerting for blockchain nodes; šDevelop internal tooling and processes to provide abstraction over blockchain nodes; šTroubleshoot debug and profile blockchains, finding performance issues and informing mitigation decisions; šWrite good quality policies, procedures and technical documentation on blockchain node operations; šBe on call for issues with blockchain nodes, and work towards automatic remediation whenever possible;
Skills you should HODL
š3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar roles; šCode in at least one modern application development or utility language; šAn analytical mind, with an understanding of how to tackle complex problems; šKnowledge of Software Development best practices and workflows, with focus on testing and delivery methodologies; šIn depth knowledge of GNU/Linux systems, their administration, and low level systems debugging, especially when applied to containers and OS-level virtualization; šExperience with cloud platform services and tooling (GCP, AWS, Azure);
