Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. Weāre growing ā quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
šSupport the VP of Policy in the development and advocacy of policies that support and enhance Bitcoin mining, with a focus on incorporating sustainable and renewable energy solutions. šEngage with federal and state agencies focusing on energy, environmental, and sustainability issues to promote renewable energy practices in Bitcoin mining. šResearch and secure grants and funding opportunities focused on renewable energy development applicable to Bitcoin mining. šCreate and disseminate educational content and thought leadership on the integration of renewable energy in sustainable Bitcoin mining practices. šWork collaboratively with Congress to influence and shape energy and environmental policy, ensuring the advancement and support of the Bitcoin mining industry. šMonitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting Bitcoin mining, particularly those related to renewable energy and sustainability. šCollaborate with Political Action Committees (PACs) to further renewable energy and sustainability objectives within the Bitcoin mining sector.

šExpertise in energy policy, renewable energy, and sustainability with a strong interest in Bitcoin mining. šExperience working with federal and state agencies related to energy, environmental, and sustainability issues. šProven ability to engage with Congress on energy and environmental policy matters, preferably those affecting Bitcoin mining. šExperience collaborating with or alongside Political Action Committees (PACs) focused on energy or sustainability. šStrong skills in research, writing, and publishing content related to energy policy, renewable energy, and sustainability. šExceptional analytical and communication skills, capable of producing data-driven insights and effectively communicating findings to influence policy and public opinion in the realm of Bitcoin mining.
