What You’ll Be Doing

📍Under the supervision of the Legal Response Lead (Global) and the Head of APAC Legal, supervise a team of legal assistants/ specialists, and provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success. 📍Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Legal Response team, including managing workflow, process uplifts, monitoring performance, and periodically updating management on significant matters and metrics. 📍Manage legal operations to support the Legal team and other internal functions, including litigation, investigations, and other matters, to ensure they are handled effectively and efficiently. 📍Help develop and implement strategies to achieve the Legal team's goals and objectives. 📍Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including team productivity and effectiveness, to ensure that the department is meeting its goals. 📍Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. 📍Collaborate with other departments, such as Risk, Compliance and Customer Support, to identify and mitigate potential legal risks. 📍Oversee the maintenance of legal records and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. 📍Prepare and assist with presenting reports on legal operations to global senior management.

What We Look For In You

📍Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 📍Experience in process improvement and team management. 📍Experience in reporting metrics and strategic plans (including use of PowerPoint and other tools) to senior leadership. 📍Exemplary integrity, ethics, independence and resilience. 📍Degree holder in Legal (LLB/J.D.) or equivalent from an accredited law school preferred, or have meaningful experience in Operations, Compliance or Risk roles.
