Responsibilities

📍Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of contracts (majorly in English) such as investment, JV, shareholders, licensing, payment, employment, services agreements, as well as other legal documents arising from the day-to-day operation of the business. 📍Identify, research, develop, and analyze company policies, regulatory change, compliance requirements, and general legal and risk management issues. 📍Manage external counsel engagements and liaise with them on a project or regulatory basis. 📍Provide research on and coordination of establishing operations in new territories and markets. 📍Assist in corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters for the company and its overseas subsidiaries or affiliates. 📍Conduct due diligence during the investment or fundraising process. 📍Manage the intellectual property rights of the company. 📍Handle any dispute or litigation arising from the business operation.

Requirements

📍Licensed to practice law. 📍Corporate lawyer with 5 years+ experience of working in a reputable law firm. 📍LL.M. degree from a recognized university in a Common Law country. 📍Proficiency in spoken and written English. 📍Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with good judgment, maturity, and flexibility. 📍Attention to details and good interpersonal skills. 📍Well-organized and able to manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
