Job Summary
What you can expect to work on:
📍Reviewing contracts initiated and sent to the company; 📍Drafting and reviewing Intellectual property(IP) licensing deals & agreements, merger and acquisition (M&A) related agreements and other related legal agreements 📍Assessing legal risks for the company; 📍Researching and evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations; 📍Giving accurate and timely advice to executives on a variety of legal topics including but not limited to assisting in contract negotiations, assessing legal risks for the company, researching legal requirements in various legal jurisdictions; 📍Dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces; 📍Dealing with outside counsel where matters require specialized advice; 📍Providing clarification on legal matters or specifications; and 📍Any other related tasks as agreed by both parties.
Requirements
📍5 - 6 years of experience, with general law and M&A experience; 📍Having knowledge and experience with SG law and working on cross-border work; 📍Experience in IP licensing and adequate with the Japanese language (reading, writing, speaking) is a bonus
