Responsibilties

📍Manage Binance Global IP strategy, including all aspects of registration of IP, protection of IP (including IP litigation) and technology & data licensing. 📍Manage our brand protection efforts across multiple brands and businesses to protect our consumers from fraudulent operators. 📍Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on a variety of licensing, intellectual property, commercial and other legal topics. 📍Perform or supervise IP due diligence and advise on IP risks in M&A and other commercial transactions. 📍Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to provide support on a wide range of transactional matters. 📍Drafting and negotiating contracts for different business lines, providing holistic risk assessments and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company. 📍Anticipate and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws relevant to your own substantive area to provide strategic advice and foster a culture of compliance. 📍Identify legal framework developments, align and promote consistency of approach in legal matters between internal stakeholders. 📍Take prudent risks within the context of the overall business, and advise and implement solutions to address issues identified.

Requirements

📍Qualified to practice law in Hong Kong, Singapore or a common-law jurisdiction. 📍6-10 PQE working in-house at a well-established organization or at a global law firm. 📍Transactional experience in tech, e-commerce, fintech or payments. 📍Strong team player and good business sense. 📍Has a proven track-record of advising on IP and commercial matters. 📍Possesses strong legal technical expertise as well as exceptional business acumen and people skills. 📍Hands-on work ethic as well as ability to independently manage complex projects. 📍Develop relevant and creative solutions to meet current and evolving business needs. 📍Excellent command of written and spoken Mandarin and English is mandatory to work with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
