Job Summary

Responsibilities:

šŸ“Manage Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the crypto industry šŸ“Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and commercial contracts šŸ“Provide legal support and coverage for our Northern Hemisphere team, addressing time-sensitive matters across different time zones šŸ“Provide advice on crypto-related regulations and emerging legal issues in the digital asset space šŸ“Assist in developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures šŸ“Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and technology, to address legal concerns and mitigate risks šŸ“Monitor and analyse regulatory developments in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry šŸ“Support the company's compliance efforts with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

šŸ“Law degree from a reputable institution šŸ“2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably gained in a multi-national organisation, trading, or financial services sectors šŸ“Experience with KYC/KYB processes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry šŸ“Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills šŸ“Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities šŸ“Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment šŸ“Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal šŸ“Good initiative and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast paced deal teams
