Job Summary
What you’ll do
📍Set the initial design direction for the future of internet commerce 🤯 📍Lead product design across web and mobile for Village, from brand to user experience 📍Help guide our marketing and growth teams with thoughtful and practical brand guidelines 📍Work closely with our executive leadership, product management, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality experiences our users can't live without 📍Lead user research efforts with full time employees and contractors as needed 📍Champion the ongoing quality and reliability of our core user experiences 📍Manage and mentor junior designers as the team grows 📍Establish the Village engineering culture–live the mission and set a standard 📍Help the product team craft the team vision, strategy, and roadmap while proposing innovative solutions, as well as understanding technical limitations 📍Drive key business metrics 📍Have an inordinate amount of fun
What you’ll bring
📍6+ years of product design design experience 📍Experience delivering products across mobile and web applications 📍Successful track record of building and shipping innovative products in complex technical spaces 📍Bonus: management, leadership, and hiring experience
