Storm2 are partnered with a well-funded mission-driven FinTech who act as a small business and commercial real estate lender. Their mission is to help small business owners and their underserved communities by providing them with responsible financing and have since helped to save thousands of small businesses across the US from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They are building out their team in the US with a Cloud Ops Team Lead being one of their key hires. This is a 100% Remote Role in which you will be responsible for driving architectural design, improving platform features, and serving as a strategist in key design and architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead the CloudOps Team and provide thought leadership on effectively resolving customer and platform issues Drive automation of recurring issues and issues that need manual intervention Create dashboards and solutions to pro-actively identify issues Reduce human errors, increase quality and security through automation Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production application issues Building, optimizing, hardening, and troubleshooting of new services, tasks, and technology from POC to production

Requirements

High sense of urgency and drive to resolve issues quickly IaaS Administration (SDKs and CLI - AWS preferred) Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch Experience with Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible or Cloud Formation Solid Knowledge in Bash, Python, Java, JavaScript Proven track record of supporting multi-az, multi-region, N-tier architecture applications in a public cloud-based infrastructure
