Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šMaintain accurate accounting records for all investment transactions, diligently recording purchases, sales, dividend income, and interest income. šAnalyse investment performance comprehensively and offer strategic recommendations to the management team, optimising investment strategies. šConduct in-depth research on various investment opportunities, preparing insightful reports on investment trends and prevailing market conditions. šIdentify and proficiently manage investment risks, including market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk, employing meticulous risk assessment practices. šEnsure strict adherence to investment regulations and guidelines, upholding the highest standards of compliance in all financial activities. šPrepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports and statements that concisely summarise investment performance, providing crucial information to investors and stakeholders.
Requirements / Skill Sets:
šBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a strong focus on investments. šQualified member of CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications. šPreferably audit trained, with experience covering the Financial Services Industry, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of investment accounting. šDemonstrable expertise working in investment back office operations, showcasing extensive expertise in the financial domain. šProfound knowledge of insurance accounting and investment accounting, essential for a comprehensive understanding of our unique financial landscape. šStrong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders. šDemonstrated ability to work independently, effectively managing pressures and demanding deadlines with precision. šKnowledge of NetSuite and other back-office systems is considered an advantage, enhancing efficiency in investment accounting operations.
