Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing:
📍Be a strategic partner to OKX Australia senior management team; be responsible for the operations of the derivatives trading business within OKX Australia. 📍You have a deep understanding of the AFSL-regulatory framework as well as blockchain technology. 📍Experience with derivatives product-design, price-setting, risk-management and revenue-calculations. 📍You understand the needs of retail and high-net wealth investors as well as institutions and can tailor products and the best user-experience for all segments. 📍Play a key role in partnering with our local compliance and legal teams to support maintaining our license with ASIC and drive business operations. 📍Own the development of key business processes and systems. Ensure processes are effectively implemented.
What We Look For In You:
📍for financial services or FinTech company (ideally head of trading or similar senior positions). 📍Good understanding of how the various functions of a regulated financial services business operate (e.g. Compliance, IT, Finance, Risk, Audit) and experience engaging with regulators. 📍Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international organization. 📍Cross functional expertise and the ability to implement global standards while ensuring local compliance. 📍Good understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial services, and related requirements. 📍Result-driven self-starter who is excited at the prospect of growing a business in a fast-paced, growth driven sector. 📍Satisfy the ASIC fit and proper test.
