Responsibilities

📍Assist the Head of the Firm with the effective day-to-day management of business operations for the Firm - with a key role in ensuring Binance’s business objectives in Europe are met. 📍Managing and handling the daily business operations of the company in Europe, working closely with all local and global function and department heads to support the day-to-day activity. 📍Ensure the operating model is fit for purpose; structure, governance, people, processes and technology to enable and support the scaling of the business across the region. 📍Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets. 📍Ensure outsourced services are provided in accordance with the respective regulatory requirements, industry standards, internal policies, processes, procedures and agreed service level agreements. This includes all activities performed for Binance users. 📍Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and service providers. 📍Develop and implement operational leadership across all functions ensuring that operational duties required to fulfil the requirements of the strategic plan, applicable legislative, regulatory and operational requirements are efficiently and effectively carried out. 📍Design and maintain a robust performance management framework consistent with HCMC expectations and ESMA Guidelines on oversight of outsourced services. 📍Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Head of Risk, Head of Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure a cohesive operations and outsourcing environment.

Requirements

📍Undergraduate degree with at least 10 years’ relevant experience. 📍Proven COO/Head of Operations experience in an EU-regulated firm, preferably under HCMC or similar authority. 📍Deep knowledge of ESMA and HCMC regulations, guidance, and reporting. 📍Strong presence and confidence to influence at all organizational levels and with external stakeholders. 📍Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sophisticated international fintech/financial services environment.
