Job Summary
What You'll be Doing:
šDrive the strategic direction and the execution of the Compliance program across all OKX entities within Europe. šManage and elevate the performance of Country Heads of Compliance and MLROs, moving the team to a more unified, fast-moving regional force. šAudit current workflows and ruthlessly eliminate inefficiencies. Implement robust, scalable frameworks that reduce manual workload and utilize data/tech to speed up decision-making. šLiaise with first, second, and third-line teams to build a control environment that exceeds regulatory standards while maintaining commercial agility. šOversee compliance reviews and investigations. šProduce data-driven compliance reports for management and the Board. You will focus on metrics, SLAs, and KPIs that demonstrate the speed and effectiveness of the compliance function. šParticipate in Board committee and sub-committee meetings, whether as a member or on an as-needed basis. šAct as the primary escalation point for complex issues, providing decisive, commercially aware guidance to business stakeholders.
What We Look For in You:
š8+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries, with a specific track record of operationalizing compliance strategies. šYou don't just identify problems, you fix them. You have a proven ability to work fast, meet tight deadlines, and drive projects to completion in a high-pressure environment. šExperience reporting into or working closely with Operations teams. šYou understand how to balance regulatory safety with operational speed. šDeep understanding of EU regulations (MiCA, GDPR, AMLD5/6) and UK regimes. You know how to navigate the fragmented European regulatory landscape. šStrong people management skills with experience leading dispersed teams. You know how to rally a team around a common goal and drive performance. šYou are comfortable using data to measure team performance, identify bottlenecks, and justify resource allocation.
