Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. Weāre growing ā quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary
Treasury Management:
šAssist the VP of FP&A and Treasurer with daily treasury management and capital market activities šEnhance efficiency, detail and accuracy of daily cash forecasting šSupport the coordination of periodic ATM (āAt the Marketā) equity issuance activity šPartner with Controller team to manage banking access compliance and controls šPartner with āVP Digital Asset Managementā and āVP Energy Developmentā on hedging transactions that are approved by the management team.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
šBachelorās degree in Finance or Business Management; Masterās degree or MBA preferred. š7+ years of experience in Finance Manager role šStrong background in corporate finance, forecasting, pricing, hedging, banking. šProven experience in developing the end-to-end financial modeling šAbility to independently visualize and format financial and statistical data into meaningful insights to support decision making šAnalytical mindset / a critical thinker šAbility to work a flexible schedule šStrong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. šStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships across departments.
