Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing
📍Leading a team of finance operations personnel in various locations including Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. 📍Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS or local statutory requirements. 📍Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and the region's regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS, ASIC, AUSTRAC). 📍Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards. 📍Develop and implement the regional financial strategy by providing financial guidance to the regional leadership teams to support decision-making and business growth. 📍Develop financial models and strategic frameworks to assess business opportunities and risks. 📍Implement financial systems and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability to ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting and intercompany transactions. 📍Drive automation and process improvements to support business growth and financial controls. 📍Build and lead a high-performing finance team across the APAC region by developing talent within the team, providing training, guidance, and career development opportunities. 📍Foster a collaborative culture that promotes accountability and excellence. 📍Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional financial regulations and cryptocurrency market developments.
What We Look For In You
📍Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field ACCA, CPA or equivalent certifcation 📍12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a cryptocurrency exchange, fintech, or financial services company. 📍Strong understanding of traditional financial markets, cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset accounting. 📍Expertise in IFRS and other jurisdiction specific financial reporting standards.
