Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. We’re growing – quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Manage our hardware, firmware and mining pool testing lab in Tampa FL 📍Run firmware pilots for firmware customers. 📍Work with QAs and developers on test scripts, procedures and remediation. 📍Collaborate in the creation and use of training and QA materials 📍Collaborate with our customers and ops in debugging and integrating new datacenter technologies 📍Help us gather insights from the ground to develop interesting and innovative ideas into prototypes around HPC applications. 📍Flexible work hours that will often require working off-business hours and weekends.
Requirements
📍7+ years of experience in hardware/software engineering 📍3+ years of experience with Unix, C/C++ 📍Undergrad or masters in CS, EE, ECE, CSE or a related discipline 📍3+ years of experience with Embedded programming preferably on FPGAs, ASICs, SoCs. 📍3+ years of experience with Rust programming 📍Experience with GCP, AWS, and basic devops 📍Experience with basic front-end and quick website prototyping skills 📍Good communication skills to understand customer requirements, discuss ideas, suggest improvements and drive projects with clear and timely reporting and documentation. 📍Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a bonus
