Job Summary
What will you be bringing to the team?
šGathering relevant field data from existing data bases covering European and selected non-European waters; šDeveloping tools to read these data (in their various formats), detect errors and organize them in a consistent data set; šDeveloping tools to analyse, harmonize, quality-check and visualize these data; šSupporting the processing of Earth Observation data; šSupporting the assessment of Earth Observation data with the collected field data in hindcast mode; šSupporting the preparation of the project near-real-time experiment
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position? šAt least 3 years of specific expertise in: šPython programming šUnix environment šManagement of data in various formats (e.g., csv, NetCDF, Shapefile ā¦). šThe field of data management and analysis
