Job Summary
The opportunity
šLead a cross-functional team of backend and frontend engineers building our payments and B2B API experiences. šDrive the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications. š with Product Managers and Designers to define and deliver high-impact features with measurable business and customer value. šCollaborate with other Engineering Managers and Tech Leads to maintain consistency in engineering standards and architecture across platforms. šChampion engineering excellence, maintainable systems, and code quality. šMentor engineers and foster a culture of technical growth, ownership, and collaboration. šStrengthen team organization and delivery through agile processes, project tracking, and metrics (e.g., DORA, cycle time).
Skills you should HODL
šProven experience leading engineering teams delivering products at scale. šExperience managing a combined frontend and backend engineering team šDeep technical background (preferably in Rust) with a solid understanding of modern backend architectures and API design. šStrong cross-functional leadership ā able to align frontend and backend efforts in a complex, multi-platform environment. šExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. šEmpathy for the customer and a passion for building intuitive, performant experiences.
