Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role?
šLiaise with internal and external stakeholders, including all contracted suppliers, to ensure effective building operations. šOversee the shift from project implementation to steady-state building operations and ensure timely initial operational capability. šManage and coordinate all operation and maintenance activities for the facility and technical installations, ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements. šOversee maintenance works, modifications, and ad hoc projects in collaboration with contractors. šEnsure the safe operation of premises and installations in line with health and safety standards and legislation. šPlan and manage contracts and service providers for hard and soft services, including utilities, maintenance, cleaning, and catering. šSupply data and analysis to support business cases and develop cost-effective technical solutions. šConduct and document regular facilities inspections. šManage the allocated budget and act as fund manager for O&M and capital investment activities. šPrepare annual budget inputs and oversee expenditure for operations, renovations, upgrades, and construction projects. šSupervise multidisciplinary teams, including technical maintenance, cleaning, and catering staff.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position? šMaster's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Science in Construction, with strong expertise in assessing building performance, maintenance needs and long-term infrastructure reliability. šAt least 10 years of engineering experience, with demonstrated success in quality control, project coordination, site supervision, ensuring the projects are completed on time and within budget and in alignment with H&S regulations. šCertified Fire Safety Expert with a strong understanding of building regulations and energy-efficient practices. šProven ability to manage projects, identify technical issues, and implement effective maintenance and safety solutions. šStrong grasp of engineering programs, ability to quickly master new tools and method.
