Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šOperate cameras to capture high-quality footage for an in-house documentary or reality show series. šManage the organization and unloading of footage, ensuring files are labelled and stored appropriately for easy access. šCollaborate with the production team to develop the overarching story arc for the series, as well as individual episode narratives. šEdit video footage to create engaging and cohesive episodes, maintaining consistency with established style and tone. šImplement feedback from stakeholders to make necessary revisions and improvements to episode edits. šWork closely with the team to meet tight deadlines and deliver episodes on schedule. šContinuously strive for excellence in storytelling, visual quality, and overall production value.
Requirements
š2-4 years of experience in videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in storytelling and post-production editing. šExperience working on documentary or reality show projects preferred. šProficiency with camera operation and technical aspects of video production. Blackmagic / Sony. šAdvanced skills in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar. šStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing large amounts of footage. šAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary. šExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey ideas and concepts through video. šExperience creating episodic content with consistent style and tone across episodes. šKnowledge of colour grading and audio mixing techniques to enhance the final product. šA passion for storytelling and a creative approach to problem-solving.
