Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šLead the development and execution of comprehensive security strategies for infrastructure or application security, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. šCollaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle. Incident Management šDevelop and maintain incident response plans and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective. šManage and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective handling of security incidents. šWork with the team on developing and implementing incident detection and response strategies. šConduct regular training and drills for the incident response team and other relevant staff. šCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into product development and operational processes. šServe as a liaison to communicate emerging risk information to and from the business units. šDirect the evaluation, deployment, and management of security technologies and tools. šWill manage a small team of security engineers in this role šFoster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation within the Security team. šStay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and trends, adjusting strategies accordingly.
##Qualifications: šMinimum of 10 years of experience in security, focusing on product or infrastructure security and incident management. šStrong knowledge of security architecture, detection, monitoring, and incident response. šProven track record in leading security initiatives in the FinTech or related industries. šFamiliarity with cloud security best practices and architectures. šProficient in the latest cybersecurity technologies and tools. šExcellent leadership and communication skills. šRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable. šBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
