Job Summary
About the role:
Binance is seeking a Data Analyst to independently analyse data, deliver insights about operational performance, and proactively drive improvements. You will act as a strategic data business partner to stakeholders, supporting ad-hoc analysis requests from business and operational teams while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting.
Responsibilities:
šAnalyse data independently to deliver insights about operational performance and proactively drive improvements. šWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple data sources. šAct as a strategic data business partner to your stakeholders. šSupport ad-hoc analysis requests from business and operational teams. šEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting. šBe part of a fast-paced industry and organisation where time to market is critical.
Requirements:
šDegree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science or Engineering. š1-3 years of full-time work experience in an Analytics or Data Science role. šSolid working knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries). šExperience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.). šA self-driven team player with the ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and techniques such as proprietary analytical software, data models and programming languages. šA natural curiosity to identify, investigate and explain trends and patterns in data and an ability to analyse and break down complex concepts and technical findings into clear and simple language for communication.
Nice-to-have: šExperience with Python or R for data analysis. šExposure to financial markets or trading data, including spot and/or derivatives trading data (e.g. volumes, depth, positions, order/trade data). šBasic knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and products, such as spot trading, derivatives, and on-chain or exchange-level metrics.
