Job Summary

About the Position:

šŸ“As part of a close-knit, diverse Legal team consisting of three Senior Lawyers and a Legal Support Specialist, the Corporate Legal Counsel provides proactive legal support to all areas of the business. Key responsibilities include: šŸ“Ensuring optimal corporate organisation, delivering company secretarial and governance support to key legal entities and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations šŸ“Overseeing a comprehensive corporate administration, including preparation of board resolutions, meeting minutes, and regulatory filings šŸ“Monitoring critical deadlines, coordinating legal workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of tasks. šŸ“Advising on shareholder matters, including delegation frameworks and internal governance requirements šŸ“Developing expertise and handling other legal matters as dictated by business needs including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and legal agreements šŸ“Providing accurate and timely advice to internal stakeholders, including senior management šŸ“Applying effective risk management techniques and proactively addressing potential legal issues šŸ“Communicating, negotiating, and managing relationships with external parties (e.g., service providers, partners, external counsel, or public authorities) šŸ“Managing complex matters with multiple stakeholders šŸ“Keeping up-to-date with industry and business-specific legislation and legal developments

About you:

šŸ“You are a corporate lawyer with a minimum of 3+ PQE. You trained in private practice and already spent a minimum of 6 months in house in either a permanent role or in the form of a client secondment šŸ“You have strong knowledge and experience of corporate law in the UK and EU and are also interested in developing expertise in other areas of law šŸ“Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial software agreements and knowledge of IP, privacy and data protection are an advantage šŸ“You are experienced or interested in enhancing your efficiency with legal and project management tools such as Docusign, Asana and Legal šŸ“You are commercially aware, a strong communicator and calm under pressure
