Job Summary
You will:
šDevelop and manage comprehensive program plans for the deployment of server, storage, and network hardware. This includes defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. You will manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously. šServe as the primary point of contact and lead coordination between various internal teams, including data center operations, engineering, logistics, and supply chain, as well as external vendors and contractors. šOversee multiple concurrent hardware deployment projects, ensuring that all milestones and deliverables are met according to the established timeline and quality standards. šProactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues. šDevelop and implement contingency plans to ensure the successful delivery of projects. šProvide clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders, including regular status reports, executive summaries, and presentations on program progress, challenges, and outcomes. šManage relationships with hardware vendors and other third-party partners. Ensure that their performance meets contractual obligations and project requirements. šContinuously evaluate and improve hardware deployment processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality. šEnsure that all program-related documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and as-built documents, is accurate and up-to-date. šTravel for site assessments and interfacing with partners. Anticipated travel not to exceed 25%. šReport to the Sr. Manager of Infrastructure Foundation - Capacity.
You have:
šA subject matter expert on Data Center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling - from pouring the concrete for a new building to decommissioning servers. 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure or data center projects. šProven experience managing large-scale, complex hardware deployment projects. šAn excellent communicator across all mediums. šA multitool team player, with a proven ability to solve project-related problems and excited about delivering world-class infrastructure. šExceptionally organized.
