Astria is a shared sequencer network that replaces centralized sequencing, allowing many rollups to share a single decentralized network of sequencers that’s simple and permissionless to join. The shared sequencer network provides out-of-the-box censorship resistance and fast block confirmations. Our team combines traditional experience in building and scaling teams at technology companies like Google and Meta, with crypto native experience from the most impactful protocols. We are backed by the leading crypto native investors including Maven11, 1kx, and Delphi Digital. We are remote first, and employees aren’t required to live in any specific timezone. English is our primary language, and employees are expected to be generally available between 10 AM and 2 PM Mountain Time (MT).
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Planning 📍Develop Astria's content strategy; strategy will be mapped to audience segments & OKRs that the content lead will participate in defining. 📍Work with BD, product, research, DevRel on content planning. 📍Build and manage a long-term content calendar. 📍Own content development for our blog, website, events, BD / marketing collateral, and collaborate on social & PR. Increased ownership of community & consumer focused social a possibility for the right candidate. 📍Drive review and approval of content with appropriate stakeholders. 📍Create internal transparency around content marketing plans & impact. 📍Execution 📍Build a scalable content creation engine; strong project management and process development skills are a plus. 📍Create content as an IC, via internal SME coordination, and by enlisting external resources (e.g. partners, agencies, etc). 📍Expanding our distribution by optimizing & growing existing channels and by adding new channels. 📍Reporting & Optimization 📍Report on content marketing impact. 📍Suggest optimizations and tests to improve performance. Action bias with an analytical test & learn mentality is required. 📍Live and breathe the industry; stay current on industry & competitive trends to inform our plans. 📍Drive content marketing innovation agenda; strive for unprecedented, breakthrough content.
Requirements
📍Previous experience leading content for an infrastructure company & communicating with technical audiences 📍A cool head and balanced approach to content (we’re a serious company, but like to have fun) 📍3+ years of experience owning content strategy; 5+ years in content development 📍Previous crypto experience; strong knowledge of audience segments, competitive landscape, and market dynamics / narratives 📍Strong project management and internal communication skills. 📍Analytical and creative thinker; able to operate from first principles 📍Crypto-Twitter native; deep familiarity with Discord
