Our client is a ground-breaking start-up, backed by NYC and SF-based investors, aiming to make the world safer by revolutionising the way that cameras work. They are looking for a Senior Computer Vision Research Scientist to influence the direction of their state-of-the-art technology. You will join a small, dedicated team, in a highly collaborative environment working on solving their toughest problems.

Responsibilities:

Increasing the robustness of tech, implementing the latest research into models, and leading initiatives to iteratively improve performance. Building and maintaining cutting-edge AI systems, such as intruder and weapon detection models Having an influence on the direction of state-of-the-art technology

Requirements:

5+ years combined Full Time plus academic experience in computer vision, machine learning, data science, or similar. (Essential) Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, math, econometrics, or similar. Strong interest in AI and startups. (Essential) Strong interest in AI and startups. Resident in the NYC metro area preferred. US Citizen or Green Card holder. (Essential) Experience building deep learning models using Python in a startup or big tech environment. Experience in managing data science projects. Advanced degree in computer vision, machine learning, data science or similar.
