Job Summary
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
📍Lead investments end to end from thesis development, category mapping, sourcing, evaluating, closing and supporting 📍Publish thought leadership and serve as subject matter expert in one or more technical domains (e.g., DeFi) for Ventures and CB Exec 📍Drive novel onchain strategies and support liquid portfolio management 📍Drive topical special projects to inform CB product strategy and/or upgrade the Coinbase Ventures platform (“firm building”)
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
📍Minimum of 7 years work experience with significant tour of duty at at top tier firm / company 📍Deep passion and demonstrated expertise in one or more onchain domains (e.g., DeFi). You live onchain. 📍Developed long-term oriented investment judgement and critical reasoning 📍Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic. 📍Excellent founder facing “UX”: clear comms, responsiveness, empathy, bedside manner 📍BA/BS degree.
