Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role?
šDevelopment of back-end website applications šIntegration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developer with server-side logic šImplement core business logic šCreation of servers and databases for functionality šDesign and implementation of data storage solutions šUnderstanding and implementation of security and data protection šOptimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability šDesign and develop APIs šParticipating in the design and creation of scalable software šTaking lead on projects, as needed šMaintenance of code integrity and organisation šWriting clean, functional code on the back end šCompile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement šTesting and fixing bugs or other coding issues šMeet both technical and consumer needs šWrite technical documentation
Requirements
šWhat you need to succeed in this position: šBSc degree in IT and at least 11 years of experience, or MSc degree and minimum 7 years experience šProficiency in backend development using Java8+, including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Java EE šExperience with REST APIs and SOAP Webservices šExperience with Oracle DB and RDBMS technologies such as Oracle šFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (plus) šKnowledge of frontend technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Angular (plus)
