Job Summary
We are building a cloud-based service for program analysis and verification of smart contracts. As a software engineer, you will work with tool developers and product engineers to build a highly-scalable and reliable service. The service will leverage data collected across code and the compute capacity provided by the cloud. You will work on the design of microservices exposed by the service in collaboration with tools engineers. You will choose the architecture and technology platforms. You will also own core fundamentals such as infrastructure orchestration, reliability engineering, devops and monitoring. You will keep up with the latest development in cloud infrastructure, reevaluate architectural choices and coordinate migration if needed. We are growing fast and our infrastructure is expected to expand rapidly. As an early member of the team, you will be able to shape the service design and play a significant role in this journey.
About you
You love technologies and are excited to see the systems you built run and evolve. You get things done fast and enjoy exploring the solution space to keep improving your creations. You value well-designed systems built for the long term and embrace design principles such as AWS's well-architected framework. You are conscientious on making architectural choices and can articulate the rationale behind such choices. When needed, you can dive deep to identify the root cause and set up preventive measures to guard against repeated problems. You take the soundness and reliability of the system to heart and take great pride in building a rock-solid platform. You are a self-starter. You love to solve problems and get results, where results are people using your cloud service to do their jobs. You believe in solving the most important problems, even if they are the most difficult ones. You are collaborative: you share ideas, brainstorm, and give and receive feedback. You are comfortable with the unknown and understand that #startuplife means that you will be wearing multiple hats.
