Avant Arte wants to make art radically more accessible for a new generation. The company began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and grew organically into the worldās largest and most engaged online art community, with more than 2 million of their followers under the age of 35. We collaborate with iconic contemporary artists like Jenny Holzer, Cai Guo-Qiang, Claire Tabouret and Hank Willis Thomas, making their work more accessible to younger collectors through sculpture editions, print editions and unique works on paper of exceptional quality. We have built a highly engaged community of next-generation art collectors, which means our artist launches are heavily oversubscribed, with many behaving more like fashion drops, selling out in under 30 seconds. Job Summary
CORE ROLE ELEMENTS
šThe role has two main areas of focus: šARTIST RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (ARM) šAccount management & artist engagement šTo act as a primary contact for a roster of artists, building strong, trusted relationships that maximise engagement, streamline project execution and create long-term value for both the artists and the business. Key responsibilities include; šProactively manage all your accounts, ensuring consistent communication and smooth delivery šBuilding meaningful relationships with artists, their studio managers and galleries. šGain a deep understanding of each artistās ambitions - market positioning, career trajectory, and long-term legacy to shape how we collaborate effectively šDrive engagement in content, promotion, collector referrals and project deliveries šBecome an expert in each artistās market and practice, combining relationship skills with analysis of demand dynamics and sharing insights internally. šCollaborate with internal teams to advocate for artist needs while balancing business priorities. šStrengthen relationships through studio visits, introductions, profile-building opportunities beyond individual projects
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
šOperational & Project Management: Exceptionally organised with experience running efficient projects, delivered to budget and on time. šAccount management: combining relationship management (building trust, communication, and long-term loyalty) with strategic, forward thinking planning for an artistās long-term editions programme with Avant Arte. šHigh quality execution at pace and with attention to detail: Demonstrated ability to use analytical thinking and data insights to evaluate the Artist Teamās performanceāboth historically and in planning for the future. Capable of reading and interpreting artist market data from auction records and other relevant sources. šCross-Functional Collaboration: Able to work with a wide range of stakeholders across different functions.
