Your mission will involve:

📍Responding to incoming queries from our banks, payment partners and other Lunauts pertaining to fraud; 📍Liaising between various internal and external stakeholders including legal, law enforcement, investigators, banks and victims; 📍Reviewing accounts and transactions for potentially fraudulent activity and take quick, decisive action; 📍Proactively identifying and monitoring fraud patterns; 📍Managing time sensitive workflows across competing priorities; 📍Interacting with customers to understand unusual account activity; 📍Providing investigative support for various teams; 📍Identifing areas of improvement in Luno’s products to ensure our continued customer security and safety; 📍Working with a high degree of independence; 📍Keeping detailed logs of incidents and preparing regular and ad-hoc reports.

Requirements:

📍A relevant qualification from an accredited institution 📍Relevant work experience within a relevant sector (e.g. Fintech, cryptocurrency exchange, payment processor or forensics firm) 📍Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and very high level of integrity 📍Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box 📍Excellent report writing skills 📍A basic understanding of cryptocurrencies 📍An existing, valid work permit for South Africa, if you’re not a South African citizen
