Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šStrategic Leadership: šLead a team focused on elevating commercial and operational excellence across key areas such as Customer Service, Airport/Ground šOperations, Passenger Sales & Marketing, Cargo Operations, and Global Onboarding. šConduct regular and ad-hoc Learning Needs Analysis in collaboration with business units to prioritize and align training initiatives with strategic business outcomes. šLearning and Development: šOversee the procurement, design, and development of cost-effective and impactful learning programs, ensuring they meet business needs and achieve desired outcomes. šEnsure the effective delivery of learning interventions, including the scheduling of instructor-led training (both in-person and virtual), to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and optimize the learning experience for company staff. šInstructor and Trainer Management: šRecruit, develop, and manage a pool of in-house instructors and Associate Trainers (ATs), fostering a pipeline of subject matter experts to sustain a high standard of training delivery. šInnovation and Technology Integration: šEvaluate and integrate new learning tools and techniques, including digital and GenAI technologies, to enhance learning effectiveness, productivity, and engagement. šRegulatory Compliance and Engagement: šEngage with regulatory bodies (e.g., CAAS, IATA) to ensure all learning programs are compliant with local and international aviation regulations. šTraining Roadmap Implementation: šCollaborate with business units to operationalize and maintain Training Roadmaps that support career development and succession planning within key job families. šLearning Culture Promotion: šPromote a vibrant learning culture within SIA by organizing and overseeing learning events, campaigns, and festivals (e.g., LIFE), ensuring continuous engagement and growth among staff.
Requirements
šBachelorās degree in any discipline. šAdvanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) is required. šA Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or similar qualifications is advantageous.
