Key Responsibilities:

📍Leadership of a team of over 70 people based in Hungary and Malta. Management and oversight of all aspects of daily compliance operations related to OKX's KYC, AML and sanctions compliance programs for the EEA region. 📍Provide leadership and guidance to the EEA compliance operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 📍Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational processes and systems, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures, regulatory standards and industry best practices. 📍Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product and Engineering), to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. 📍Assess market opportunities and resource requirements to scale the compliance operational capacity in the EEA area. 📍Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management on operational metrics.

What We Look For In You

📍Proven track record of leadership and management (e.g. 10 years plus), with experience leading large operational teams in the EEA area and / or in the global environment. 📍Extensive experience in compliance operations, gained from working in financial institutions (e.g. banks), or fintech industry. 📍Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in EEA and compliance best practices. 📍Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 📍Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
