Cryptocurrency and Digital Asset Writer / SEO Editor

At BeInCrypto, we produce independent news, technical analyses, and price predictions without shill. Currently, we are seeking a new writer and editor to join our SEO team. A good candidate for the position should have at least an entry-level background in SEO writing, digital marketing, digital journalism, and public relations. They should also be passionate about cryptocurrency, digital assets, and fintech. We are on a mission to empower our users to make smart financial decisions based on transparent information. Our SEO team is no different. Our writers and editors must be able to produce honest, accurate, and creative content. Our focus is on enriching the experience of the end user while supplying with the information they’re looking for.

What will you be doing?

As a content specialist, you will create content assets and contribute to the development of the architecture of the site. You will be assigned specific topics, templates, and instructions that are designed to generate traffic and improve important analytics like bounce rate, average session time, and others. Our primary goal is to ensure that our content reaches the top of Google and stays there for all relevant topics we write about. Some specific responsibilities might include:

• Making plans through extensive keyword research. You will understand the wants and needs of our potential new readers and make plans to generate content to meet them.
• Editing copy
• Coordinating and managing other writers
• Maintaining full ownership of your content — from brainstorming to briefing, proofreading, writing, editing, and, finally, publishing articles. You will own every stage of the process.
• Working with other teams at BeInCrypto — including IT, social media, and PR teams
• Following frameworks to ensure our content follows the legal, brand, and PR guidelines.
• Ensuring direct impact on the end user
• Communicating key insights and obstacles to the team and broader company
• Working remotely with an international team of other crypto experts

Qualifications and Prerequisites

In order to be a prime candidate, you should meet these qualifications:

• Native-English speaker
• Superb writing skills
• Fluency in another language is a plus.
• Strong interest in blogging, cryptocurrency, and digital assets
• Willingness to learn more about SEO (Background in SEO / Digital Marketing / Journalism / PR is a bonus, but not mandatory — training will be provided.)
• You’re not afraid of getting your hands dirty: from small copy changes to fixing landing pages in bulk, you’ll get it done.
• A great eye for detail, from words to visuals: the final article/page must look the best that it can.
• You have a good understanding of what makes content great.
• You thrive more on independence than structure — and you come ready-equipped with a thick skin and a sizeable sense of humor.
• You are analytical: from traffic numbers to conversion rates, you understand how to measure the performance of your work.

Social Media Manager (Must Be Located in Europe)

We are looking for a full-time social media manager in Europe for our global cryptocurrency news portal, with a focus on growing our community on social media and, ultimately, increasing our social traffic.

Responsibilities

• Relay our crypto news articles on a daily basis on social media platforms
• Administrate the scheduling and publishing of high-quality, regular content on social networks, globally
• Communicate with the cryptocurrency community in a nice, creative, and engaging way to ensure optimal reach for our content
• Lead experiments to grow our fanbase, our engagement rate, and our conversion rate on social media

Candidate Profile

• Must be based in Europe. (We won’t consider applications from candidates located on another continent.)
• Native-English speaker.
• Strong creative writing background and skills required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent,
• Solid experience within social media marketing in the blockchain scene with a proven track record of successful large-scale community building
• Solid understanding of social platform technologies, demonstrated through up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and developments
• Creative and innovative in your daily work and your deliveries
