Requirements:
- Video and Podcast editing and motion graphics experience (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, AfterEffects and Premiere Pro)
- Validated understanding of design fundamentals
- Familiarity working with existing footage
- A smart, bold, responsive design approach
- Ability to thoughtfully communicate and make complex ideas simple
- Illustration experience is a plus
- 2-3 years of audio production experience working in video or podcasting
- Strong multimedia editing skills and experience with audio editing software
- Knowledge of best practices for multi-track audio editing
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to maintain high attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Writing/Editing and Video Journalism experience
Responsibilities:
- Participating in editorial planning meetings
- Editing the completed file and putting together the podcasts and videos to publish
- Help conceive story ideas, develop a narrative structure for stories, and build complex narrative stories
- Develop storylines out of interviews
- Incorporate feedback from the creative team to finalize technical aspects of podcasts
- Manage the production schedule of shows (theme selection, scripts, recording, sponsorship spots, etc.)
- Responsible for the final check as each episode goes live on platforms
- Communicate regularly and in a timely manner with the team
- Contribute fresh compelling ideas
- Collaborate with the creative team to plan the arc of podcast seasons
