Job Summary
The opportunity
📍Lead the technical direction for mobile onboarding initiatives across Payward products 📍Design and evolve high-quality mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability at scale 📍Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to identify onboarding and activation opportunities and translate them into measurable engineering solutions 📍Architect reusable mobile components, patterns, and systems that support experimentation and rapid iteration across onboarding flows 📍Mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions across mobile and product engineering teams 📍Ensure strong engineering standards across the mobile stack, including performance, security, testing, and maintainability 📍Collaborate across teams to align on architecture, tooling, and technical strategy for Payward product onboarding experiences.
Skills you should HODL
📍We’d love to see some of the following — but don’t worry if you don’t meet every point. 📍Proven experience leading large-scale mobile projects or owning critical mobile systems end-to-end 📍Deep expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript, with strong experience building applications using React Native 📍Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and scalable UI systems 📍Experience designing systems that support experimentation and data-driven product development 📍A product mindset — you think about user impact and measurable outcomes, not just implementation 📍Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and design teams
