Job Summary
As a Backend Engineer at Caldera, you will:
šArchitect and develop backend systems to ensure the smooth operation of Calderaās blockchains šBuild secure and scalable crypto-native systems on EVM blockchains ie indexers or relayers šTake ownership of new features from conception through to deployment for Calderaās self-serve infrastructure platform šTake the lead on data model design, ensuring that databases are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability šEngage in performance tuning and optimization efforts, profiling systems then reducing latency + increasing throughput šBe a source of technical leadership and mentorship; for example, providing high-quality feedback and code reviews for junior engineers

šHave 4+ years of engineering experience šHave experience writing backend services in Go or Typescript šHave experience designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs šHave a strong ability to design efficient and scalable data models. šStrong background with cloud computing platforms, especially AWS šKeen eye for security, solid understanding of threat modeling and secure system architecture
