Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šDesign,build, and support strong, resilient, and robust APIs, libraries, and services to power our settlement product šResponsible for managing BitGoās technical architecture šOwn functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment and customer integration šExpose and document functionality to the UI, third-party developers, and our internal and external tooling šCollaborate closely with all engineering teams to ensure consistency in understanding of technical requirements and overall work quality šProvide mentorship to your peers in the broader engineering team through code reviews and education on best practices

Required
šAt least 6+ years of back-end, server-side software development šGreat at algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis šStrong experience with server-side languages like TypeScript/Node.JS, Golang, etc. šStrong experience with SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL šStrong experience with RESTful API design šExperience with unit and functional testing and debugging šExperience with microservices and service-oriented architectures šExperience in Git/GitHub and branching methodologies, code review tools, CI tools, JIRA, Confluence, etc. šAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment šComfortable with inclusion in on-call rotations for system support šStrong spoken English skills šBachelorās degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or another technical discipline from a top university šCoordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking night calls to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team
