Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
šContribute to the development of APIs that power deposits, withdrawals, and payment flows in the Blockchain.com app. šAssist in integrating with external payment providers and banks, supporting users in multiple regions. šWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code under the guidance of experienced engineers. šHelp resolve technical issues related to payments in collaboration with the FinOps and engineering teams. šLearn and apply best practices in monitoring, performance tuning, and security for payment systems. šParticipate in code reviews, discussions, and team stand-ups, contributing ideas and learning collaboratively.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
šSome experience with backend programming ā Kotlin, Java, or another statically typed language. šBasic understanding of HTTP APIs and how backend systems communicate. šFamiliarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL. šA genuine interest in payments technology, fintech, or crypto infrastructure. šEnthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn in a production environment. šGood written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
