Job Summary
Role
📍At Whatnot, the Notifications Platform team is responsible for delivering all the notifications sent to Whatnot users. Our platform enables teams at Whatnot to send relevant messages to both buyers and sellers while driving an overall communications experience focused on quality, utility and business impact. We are a product platform team within the discovery organization. As an L5 engineer, you will 📍Be responsible for architecting, building and scaling core platform components of notifications delivery, audience targeting as well as improve developer experience and platform observability 📍Effectively collaborate with PM and other ICs on the team to lead platform projects 📍Mentor/uplevel other junior engineers on the team 📍Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, or New York hubs.
