Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šAct as the deskās Senior Trading Operations Analyst and help with running all day-to-day operations. šDevelop deep working knowledge of the trading, clearing and settlement of all asset classes traded at the firm (commodities, equities, fixed income, FX, crypto). šOwn day-to-day operational processes: SOD/EOD position reconciliation, pricing & settlements, PnL calculations and reporting, critical intraday monitoring, as well as liaising with partner Firms and šBanks to understand and coordinate costs, fees, and regulatory requirements. šDesign a system of alerts, checks, and reconciliations that preserves data integrity, communicates breaks in real time, and prevents small issues from multiplying. šUnderstand all methods of trade execution across the firm and help architect a more efficient system for consuming fills and distributing position to traders. šCollaborate with developers to shape databases, trader tools, and position management GUIs. šCreate precise processes to streamline onboarding of new traders, strategies, and products. šPerform stimulating data analysis on volumes, fees, margin financing, rebates, and Desk ROI. Connect insights to business opportunities. šEvaluate operational feasibility of new trades/markets/exchanges and help tackle trading obstacles in the way of new business.
Requirements:
šBachelorās degree š2ā5 years of experience in an analytical or operational role within the banking or trading industry šClear thinker with advanced aptitude for breaking down complex problems in a timely fashion šExpertise in Excel and SQL required; familiarity with Python and Bloomberg is a plus šStrong communication skills and ability to advance many simultaneous discussions forward šStrong work ethic, desire to learn, and ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment šIndependent and resourceful with a willingness to take on challenges and figure out solutions
